LibreOffice 3.4.3 has been released via PPA. The new version ensures you get the latest language packs and a modified LibreOffice app menu extension. LibreOffice had always been the best open source personal productivity tool in Ubuntu releases and is available for other operating systems as well.


In Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal, you can update to this latest version by using the following commands in terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
